Triggers
What is a Trigger?
A trigger is an Email or SMS message which is triggered from some kind of interaction made on the website.
It is transactional in nature in that it relates to the event that an end user has entered into. A trigger is not something that based off a non-interaction e.g. having not done something such as uploading a profile pic
Currently there is no support to un-subscribe from triggers.
Trigger Types
There are 2 types of triggers
Email Based
Email based triggers are supported out of the box and require no additional integrations, an email trigger will send a HTML email to the end user based on the criteria chosen (see below)
SMS Based
For a SMS trigger to be supported the site must have signed to one of the SMS providers and have the API configured correctly to allow us to send SMS messages.
Available Triggers
Below is a list of all triggers currently available.
Member amount raised
This will send a trigger when a fundraiser has raised an amount equal to or greater than the amount you specify.
Team amount raised
This will send a trigger when a team has raised an amount equal to or greater than the amount you specify.
Percentage of amount raised
This will send a trigger when a fundraiser has raised a percentage of their fundraising goal of equal to or greater than the amount specified.
Percentage of Team amount raised
This will send a trigger when a team has raised a percentage of their fundraising goal of equal to or greater than the amount specified.
